2025 Badge Ticket Policies for Spoleto Festival USA Staff, Artists, Apprentices, and Ushers

All complimentary ticketing is based on availability and is subject to change throughout the Festival. This page will be updated regularly, so please check back often for the most up-to-date information.

For performances with limited or no badge availability, staff, artists, apprentices, and ushers may purchase tickets using the 15% Friends & Family discount. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or at the ticket kiosk.

  • Online: Select the STANDARD price. The 15% Friends & Family discount will be automatically applied at checkout.

  • By Phone: Let the ticket agent know you’d like to use the Friends & Family discount.

  • At the Kiosk: Mention the Friends & Family discount to the ticket agent and present your badge.

Blue and Purple Badge Holder Comp Ticket Policy:

  • All audience members and badge holders MUST have a ticket.  A badge alone will not allow entry to performances.  
  • Blue & Purple Badge holders are allotted 1 complimentary ticket per eligible performance.  
  • All complimentary Blue & Purple Badge ticketing is based on availability and may be limited.  
  • A list of performances with advance and/or in-person availability can be found at the link above. 
  • Tickets for performances with advance availability must be reserved at spoletousa.org with promo code: SPOTBADGE2025, by following these instructions.  
  • ONLY performances that list in person availability will have tickets available at the venue box office.  
      • In-person ticket availability will be limited. 
      • You must present your Festival Badge to claim tickets in-person.  
      • Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.   
      • Tickets for future performances may not be reserved at the venue box office.  
      • Spoleto patrons take priority over staff and volunteers at the box office. You may be asked to wait until all patrons are helped before your comps are processed. 

Green and Black Badge Holder Comp Ticket Policy: 

  • All audience members and badge holders MUST have a ticket.  A badge alone will not allow entry to performances.  
  • Green & Black Badge holders are allotted 2 complimentary tickets per eligible performance.   
  • All complimentary Green & Black Badge ticketing is based on availability and may be limited.  
  • A list of performances with advance and/or in-person availability can be found at the link above. 
  • Tickets for performances with advance availability must be reserved at spoletousa.org with promo code: STAFFBADGE2025, by following these instructions.  
  • ONLY performances that list in person availability will have tickets available at the venue box office.  
      • In-person ticket availability will be limited. 
      • You must present your Festival Badge to claim tickets in-person.  
      • Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

Yellow Badge Holder (Usher) Comp Ticket Policy:

  • All complimentary Usher ticketing is based on availability and may be limited. A list of performances with advanced availability is linked above.
  • All Ushers are issued several comp cards at the start of the Festival. To see an example, click here.
  • For every ONE shift worked, an onsite House Manager will initial ONE circle.
  • When all three circles are initialed the comp card can be exchanged for one comp ticket.
  • Usher comp tickets cannot be reserved online, they must be redeemed in person at:
      • The ticket kiosk at The Charleston Place at 205 Meeting Street. Hours: 9am-5pm, daily
      • The onsite box office of any performance listed at the link above as having advance availability, 1 hour prior to curtain.
      • Spoleto patrons take priority over staff and volunteers at the box office. You may be asked to wait until all patrons are helped before your comps are processed. 
  • If you redeem all of your comp cards, you may get new ones from a House Manager or the Front of House Coordinator, Caitlin Wright. 
  • If you have a full comp card from a previous season, you may redeem it in 2025.

PLEASE NOTE: a Clear Bag Policy will be in effect for all venues.

  • Any bag larger than a 4.5” x 6.5” clutch must be clear.  
  • Bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12” are not permitted inside performance venues. 
  • Before entering a performance or event, you will be subject to a search of your person, your items, and/or metal-detector wanding.
