2025 Open Stage Door applications are now open! Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and officially close on Friday, April 25.
As part of Spoleto Festival USA’s commitment to our community, the Open Stage Door program awards complimentary tickets to non-profit, community service, and educational groups based in the greater Charleston area. This program allows us to provide local audiences with access to world class artists by overcoming barriers and creating connections across multiple performances.
To be considered for this opportunity, organizations do not have to be classified as a 501(c)3 but must serve members of the greater Charleston community with a mission to provide charitable, educational, or social benefits at low or no cost to their members or participants. Organizations are invited to request complimentary tickets by submitting a brief application describing their services. Within the application, organizations should identify which performances are best fit for their participants, considering accessibility needs, cultural representation, and developmentally appropriate content.
Eligible organizations that receive tickets must use at least 80% of their awarded seats or return their unused tickets at least one week prior to the performance. Low or no attendance with complimentary tickets may result in disqualification from the program in the future.
For any additional questions regarding your application or awarded tickets please email [email protected].
