All ticket prices are stated in US Dollars.
Payment Methods
We accept several payment methods for your convenience, including American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and Spoleto Festival Gift Certificates online or by phone. At our in-person ticket kiosk and performance venues we also accept cash and checks.
Ticket Prices
Prices for all performances are subject to change. Sales are analyzed on a per-performance and per-section basis, and prices are adjusted based on changes in demand. The prices on the website are adjusted in real time and reflect the most current price for each performance.
All sales are final; no refunds will be granted if prices decrease.
Discounts, Offers, & Promotions
Active Military, Veterans, Teachers, and Students may receive a 10% discount on select performances and in select seating sections/price tiers. Tickets purchased in advance must be held at will call and military, teacher, or student ID must be shown at ticket pick up. If a valid ID is not shown at pick up, ticket buyers will be required to pay full price.
Discounted pricing is available for children ages 13 and under for select performances. Adults attempting to gain entry with a child priced ticket will be required to pay full price.

Processing, Facility, & Handling Fees
A $5.00 processing fee is applied to each ticket to help offset the costs associated with selling tickets. Every Festival event ticket, whether purchased in person, over the phone, or online is processed by a Spoleto Festival USA box office staff member. Processing fees are waived for Chamber Subscribers.
A $4.00 facility fee is also applied to each ticket which helps make it possible for the Festival to continue to use a variety of venues throughout downtown Charleston.
A $5.00 per order handling fee will be applied to all orders requesting printed tickets whether they are mailed or held at will call. Handling fees are waived for Chamber Subscribers.
Refunds, Exchanges, & Ticket Donations
All sales are final. No refunds.
There are no returns or refunds on posters, gift certificates, or Spoleto branded clear bags.
Please verify all dates, times, and seat selections prior to completing purchase. All performance dates, times, prices, venues, and artists are subject to change without prior notice.
- Single ticket buyers and Festival Circle Donors may exchange tickets for a $5 fee per performance before May 15. After May 15, ticket exchanges will not be permitted.
- Chamber subscribers (to 4-10 programs) and Spoleto Society donors ($2500-$9,999) may exchange tickets free of charge until May 15. After May 15, a $5 exchange fee per performance will be incurred. All exchanges must be completed 72 hours before performance time.
- Spoleto Society donors ($10k+), Board Members, and Chamber Subscribers (to all 11 programs) may exchange tickets free of charge up to 72 hours before performance time.
All exchange requests are subject to availability. If exchanging for a higher priced seat you must pay the additional cost. Refunds will not be given for exchanges into lower-priced seats.
Tickets may be returned as a tax-deductible contribution to the Festival up to 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. You will be sent a receipt for your tax-deductible gift once the Festival has concluded.
Tickets may not be returned for account credit. Ticket exchanges or contributions must take place in the same transaction as the ticket return.
Cancellations, Venue Changes, & Inclement Weather
If a performance is cancelled or rescheduled, ticket holders will be contacted via email and text message (mobile opt in required) with new event information or ticket return instructions. Unless otherwise noted, your tickets will be valid for the new event date.
If an outdoor event must be moved indoors due to inclement weather, all ticket holders will be notified via email and text message (mobile opt in required) of the new venue location, no later than 3 hours prior to showtime.
If an outdoor event must be postponed due to inclement weather (lightning) all ticket holders will be notified via email and text message (mobile opt in required) updates and instructions. Regular updates will be shared via text message.
Ticket Resale
Spoleto Festival USA does not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any third-party seller. Tickets purchased from a source other than Spoleto Festival USA may be lost, stolen, or counterfeit and may not be honored.
Note to third-party ticket resellers: The resale or attempted resale of a ticket for admission to an event at a price more than $1.00 above face value is a violation of South Carolina state law. Any order identified as having been purchased with the intent to resell for above face value will be cancelled and refunded to the original form of payment.
