The Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra and Chorus unite for a jubilant production of Joseph Haydn’s 1798 oratorio The Creation. The three-act masterwork chronicles the biblical creation narrative from emptiness to Eden, entwining Haydn’s exultant score with a vivid libretto drawn from Genesis, Psalms, and John Milton’s Paradise Lost—in a riveting journey from chaos to order.
