In 2021, Puerto Rican saxophonist and MacArthur Fellow Miguel Zenón and acclaimed Venezuelan pianist Luis Perdomo reimagined beloved boleros as sensuous jazz ballads in their critically acclaimed album El Arte Del Bolero. Three years later, Zenón and Perdomo share their Grammy Award-winning, two-album project in five intimate engagements. Irresistibly seductive, El Arte Del Bolero delivers “alluring, forward-thinking performances” (Latin Jazz Network) while honoring a timeless Latin American musical tradition.
