Led by the visionary duo of Brazilian dancer/ choreographer Leonardo Sandoval and bassist/ composer Gregory Richardson, dance company Music From The Sole delivers a thrilling performance that redefines tap dance. This high-energy show incorporates live music, samba, house, and percussive dance. A dynamic ensemble of eight dancers and a five-piece band delves into the cultural roots of tap dance, tracing its lineage to other AfroDiasporic forms. Through a vibrant, Carnival-inspired performance, they celebrate the beauty, complexity, and virtuosity of Black dance and music.
