Alongside the production of the opera, Spoleto Festival USA worked to make Omar Ibn Said’s story a part of the local school curriculum, including commissioning a workbook with illustrations by renowned artist Jonathan Green. Students were also invited to join Spoleto for a dress rehearsal of Omar. This education initiative was supported by Omar presenting sponsor Wells Fargo.
