Overview
Witness the spellbinding craft of Patterson Hood, the legendary singer-songwriter and co-founder of Drive-By Truckers. Hailed as the ‘Southern Springsteen’ by Garden & Gun, Hood will perform notable hits and songs from his new album, “Exploding Trees & Airplane Screams,” his first solo album in 12 years.
In this Front Row-first double-bill, Hood is joined by MJ Lenderman, a breaking-through North Carolina-based singer-songwriter whose incisive lyrics and darkly humorous observations cut to the heart of the human condition. Lenderman navigates a sea of cultural debris and wry one-liners to find profound truths about himself and the world around him.
