This performance features the WORLD PREMIERE of Suzan D. Boyd Composer-in-Residence Allison Loggins-Hull’s Children’s Songs, commissioned by Spoleto and performed by the composer with Paul Wiancko. Jessica Meyer’s sizzling Slow Burn opens the concert, which concludes with Elgar’s expressive, Romantic piano quintet.
