Bank of America Chamber Music Program VI
Overview
This program features a large collection of the series’ world-class musicians performing Olli Mustonen’s exuberant, neoclassical Nonet for nine performers. The Dock Street is no stranger to the music of Joseph Haydn, whose D minor string quartet opens the concert. Also featured are Alberga’s quirky, charming work inspired by a fictional vision of farm animals talking, plus Copland’s spacious and quintessentially American sound.
