The weekend opened on February 26 with a lively reception and program at Cannon Green featuring Grammy Award-winning percussionist Pedrito Martinez.

In conversation with Jazz Curator Larry Blumenfeld, Martinez explored the roots of Afro-Caribbean music and the personal influences that have shaped his artistry.
