Mixing the Great American Songbook with pop hits, jazz standards, and punk rock, chanteuse Storm Large won’t be pegged to just one genre. She has performed with such disparate artists as Pink Martini, Rufus Wainwright, and George Clinton, and her vocals—an “intoxicating and unmissable cocktail of power and vulnerability” (The Times)—have accompanied the New York Pops, and the National, Detroit, and BBC symphonies. For a show that’s one part saucy, one part spicy, and nonstop sizzle, Storm’s “exhilarating intensity and passion [are] sure to send shivers down your spine” (Edinburgh Festival Magazine).
