“Sensual and arresting…storytelling ballet at its best” – The List

A perilous game of power and persecution

Salem is on the brink. Its people fear the shadows in the forest, but the real monsters are much closer to home. As you watch this tight-knit society unravel into chaos, ask yourself: When everything hangs in a delicate balance, how far are you willing to go for the truth?

Returning to Spoleto after its lauded 2015 rendition of A Streetcar Named Desire, Scottish Ballet unleashes the emotional force of Arthur Miller’s masterpiece in this “blazing interpretation” (The Observer), choreographed by Helen Pickett and accompanied by the Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra.

This performance contains a brief moment of nudity.
