It’s time for the Festival’s biggest fundraising event of the year! TONIGHT (January 31) starting at 7pm, Memminger Auditorium will host the Spoleto Festival USA Annual Auction. As in years past, there will be both a live and online auction. Bidding opened for the online component on January 27 and will run until 9pm on February 29. Visit the online auction by CLICKING HERE. Bid now, bid often! During cocktail hour at this evening’s event, guests will be able to bid on online auction items by using various computer kiosks located around the room.

The live auction will begin after a vivacious performance by the Charleston Latin-Jazz Collective featuring Gino Castillo. At this time, guests will have the opportunity to bid on items such as a 13-day tour of Tuscany and Umbria; a luxurious suite for 12 guests at a Carolina Panthers home game; a private sound check with Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn; and a private dinner for 12 prepared by award-winning chef Mike Lata. In addition to these big ticket items (and many more), guests can also bid to sponsor individual members of the Spoleto Festival USA Orchestra for their residency during the 2014 Festival. These talented musicians are integral to the standard of excellence that Festival audiences enjoy year after year. Proceeds from this evening’s event make it all possible.

NEW FOR 2014: After the live auction, there will be a second performance by the Charleston Latin-Jazz Collective featuring Gino Castillo. At this time, guests will be encouraged to get out on the dance floor and show off their salsa-inspired dance moves.

We hope to see you out on the dance floor!
