Cuban musician Pedrito Martinez is a world-class percussionist and singer who leads the Grammy-nominated Pedrito Martinez Group. This quartet, made up of two percussionists, a pianist, and bassist, seamlessly marries enticing dance music to rich folklore. By blending timba, gospel, guaguanco, blues, jazz, and classical music they are “writing a new chapter in Cuban music history, and their excitement is irresistible.” (NPR’s All Things Considered)
